I visited Watkins Glen in New York and was taken by its beauty! It looked like a scene out of Lord of the Rings...it's just incredible there! I took one of my favorite photos I shot and did a painting in gouache of it.
I did this painting based on inspiration from 2 different photos I took in Rocky Mountain National Park. The elk I took a photo of had a boring background, and this beautiful field with mountains in the background was devoid of elk so...combine them and wow, looks better! lol.
